Do I need to bring a partner?

No—most events you can show up solo and you’ll be partnered up.

I’m new to tennis, or not very good. Will I be out of place?

No—events are casual and mixed-level.

Is this just for serious or competitive players?

No. In our most recent member survey, improving skills and socializing topped the list of reasons people join—not competition. Two-thirds of respondents said the welcoming atmosphere and the mix of skill levels are what they enjoy most about our events.

Is there a cost?

No. There’s no cost to attend events—we play on public courts.

What happens if it rains?

The moderator running that event makes the call on whether to cancel. If an event is cancelled, everyone who RSVP’d or is on the waitlist gets an email notification—so RSVP even if you’re not sure the weather will hold, and you’ll be covered.

Do I need to be a USTA member?

No. Many members also play USTA league tennis, but it’s not required to come play with us.

How do I find a hitting partner outside of scheduled events?

Turn on “I’m looking for a hitting partner” in your account and you’ll show up in the partner directory.
